The Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences is delighted to welcome Prof. Timo Minssen (University of Copenhagen) as an Affiliate Member. The position of Affiliate covers researchers beyond the Faculty of Law who represent, participate in, or run, specific projects on behalf of LML.

Prof. Minssen is Professor of Law at the University of Copenhagen and the Founder and Managing Director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Biomedical Innovation Law (CeBIL). His research concentrates on legal and ethical issues in pharmaceuticals, medical devices and emerging medical technologies - including the regulation of responsible research and incentives for innovation to sustainable drug development, technology transfer and commercialization.

He collaborates with LML colleagues on a variety of issues relating to intellectual property, competition, data protection and regulatory law within the health and life sciences. Some areas of special emphasis include AMR, artificial intelligence, quantum technology and new platform technologies.
