On 5 September, we were delighted to welcome Ms Tia Whitmore to the LML community as the Cambridge University Medical Law Society (CUMLS) Law Ambassador. Tia is a second-year law student at St Catherine’s College passionately interested in medical law, especially medical negligence. Since its founding in 2021, CUMLS has offered students the chance to engage with key issues at the intersection of law and medicine, with LML providing support in advancing the Society’s mission.
Reflecting on her new role, Tia said:
“My role is to promote the various events we hold, such as academic talks hosted by guest speakers, debates and moots, and career events. This opportunity to engage with leading academic minds and promote the Society reinvigorates my enthusiasm for law.”
