Ms Georgia Michell has joined the Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences (LML) as a Project Coordinator to assist the Director and Deputy Director of LML, Professor Kathy Liddell and Dr Jeffrey Skopek, in achieving the objectives of the Centre.

Georgia has a Bachelor of Social Science and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cape Town and an LLM in International Law and Security from the University of Glasgow. She will be providing research, general management and administrative assistance.

Ms Ashleigh Hamidzadeh is a PhD candidate researching the appropriateness of the principles of direct and indirect infringement in relation to second medical use patents and she joins LML as a Research Associate. 

Ashleigh specialises in patent and pharmaceutical law. She is particularly interested in pharmaceutical repurposing and the enforceability of new medical use patents. We are looking forward to her contributions to the team.
