On 5 September, we said a heartfelt farewell to Jake Widjaya, who has been central to LML’s work as Research Projects Coordinator for the past two years. Jake now heads to London to complete his Bar Training Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy under the prestigious Lord Denning Scholarship.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to LML for the past two years. Building on an already strong foundation, the Centre has increased its profile and impact in a profound way. I feel very humbled by the award of the Lord Denning Scholarship and am looking forward to using it to advocate for human rights. Though I am sad to leave, I feel so lucky to have worked at the Centre and wish everyone the very best,” Jake said.
We thank him warmly for his contributions and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
