This June, LML participated in the 2025 Inter-CeBIL Retreat at the Comwell Hotel Roskilde in Denmark. The retreat brought together partners from the Inter-CeBIL Programme including CeBIL at the University of Copenhagen, LML, the Petrie Flom Centre at Harvard, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and other leading academic institutions.
Inter-CeBIL aims to strengthen global knowledge networks to address some of the most pressing challenges in health and life science innovation. The programme prioritises practical, impact-oriented outcomes, offering legal and regulatory support for medical researchers, business communities and incubators.
This year’s retreat focused on three key themes: Advanced Medical Computing, Pandemic Preparedness & Anti-Microbial Resistance, and Sustainable Innovation. LML’s representative, Professor Mateo Aboy, opened the first session on Advanced Medical Computing with a presentation on Key Area 1 of Inter-CeBIL: AI and Quantum.
The retreat was a valuable opportunity to deepen international collaboration and foster cross-disciplinary dialogue. We look forward to continuing these efforts through future publications, workshops and inspiring retreats.
